PASSO TONALE
Passo Tonale is the ideal place for learning to ski. It's a natural amphitheatre and perfect sun trap where a widespread network of ski facilities serve the most beautiful slopes of the Alpine range. You're just spoilt for choice. From the mythical "black Paradiso" slope, that stretches out for 3 kilometres with a gradient of 710 metres, to the long and panoramic Alpine slope that covers 4500 metres and has a gradient of 725 metres, both linked to the Pegrà slope where you can ski for 5 kilometres to the slopes of Ponte di Legno, which are recommended for more experienced skiers because they are more demanding and all created amongst thick pine forests in settings of unrivalled beauty.
In the summer, to enjoy the mountains to the full, all our guests will be given the “Tonale Card” free of charge, which entitles you to take part in the fun packed program consisting of trips, walks and excursions with animators and Alpine guides to admire the fauna, flora and breathtaking views of our location. The card also entitles you to discounts in the local shops and other reduced rates for sports activities such as rafting, canoeing down the hill torrents and archery. Our guest card is also available, which costs 1 euro per day but is worth at least 10, for getting onto the ten cable cars in Tonale, Folgarida, Marilleva and Pejo free of charge. There is also a Nordic walking instructor in our hotel to teach you the latest walking sport trend.
